So far the battery life has been as good if not better than expected. Great to be able to avoid the gas station.

Gen2 has a better battery and a nicer look to the car. Win win

We were impressed with the equivalent car that we test-drove: smooth, good acceleration and handling, and appreciated the range of options in controls and extras. Key to us was finding an EV that we could use on our daily commute that would have the range and ultimate resale, and this looks like an excellent match on these considerations.

Mechanically simple car with not much that can go wrong and almost no maintenance. Drives really well and has just enough power to never feel lacking. Lots of room in the boot but the rear seats don't go fully flat. Pro Pilot is an awesome feature and works well (Weather permitting). With recent price drops the 2017+ Leafs are a no-brainer! Go drive one!

Our new Nissan Leaf is sporty and stylish, surprisingly spacious, speedy, and it has all the bells and whistles, while saving us serious $$$.

Positive comments: 1. Range: The 2018 Nissan LEAF offers an improved range compared to earlier models, making it more practical for daily commuting and longer trips. 2. Driving Experience: I like the smooth and quiet driving experience of the 2018 LEAF. The instant torque provided by the electric motor delivers quick acceleration and responsive handling, making it enjoyable to drive. 3. Regenerative Braking: The LEAF's regenerative braking system helps extend the range by converting the energy generated during braking into usable electricity. 4. Interior Space: The 2018 LEAF offers a spacious interior, comfortably seating five passengers. The cabin is well-designed and offers a good balance of comfort.

The 2018 is a welcome step up from my 2011 leaf. It has all the modern features like Autopilot, parking sensor, heated seats. Range is a lot issue and I don't have to charge every day. Realistically you can expect around 180-190k in Winter with the heater on sometimes. Drives very nice

Great car - have taken it from Swannanoa to Hanmer Springs and to Cromwell. Will do 200kms per charge on the open road so very happy with that!

Surprised at how economical it is. We have solar and have more panels than what we would need for daily power usage...this makes running the car almost cost neutral. Love driving past petrol stations and not needing them. As for the car, such a joy to drive, way more responsive than our other cars and surprised with its speed and pickup.
